Total IAQ Monitor CZ8
1. Monitoring, Regulation and Reporting of Air Quality shall be performed automatically on continuous basis, by Ruks ControZone CZ8 Total Air Quality Monitor.
2. The Monitor shall be suitable for tracking Total VOC, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, Environment Ozone, Temperature, and RH.
3. Monitor shall be rated for continuous operation, in indoor ambient 32ΕF to 140ΕF (0Ε to 60ΕC) and RH 0 to 80% non Condensing.
4. IAQ shall comprise Sensor Section and Display Section. Sensor Section is common for all Monitors. Display Section is user selectable; PD, AD, LAN, BacNet, Modbus, or EtherNet.
5. The IAQ Monitor shall be suitable for easy field installation without opening the IAQ Monitor, by fixing the factory provided back plate, upon which the Monitor slides easily in. All necessary hardware for installation shall be provided by the manufacturer.
6. All electrical, power, control, and BAS/BMS wiring shall terminate on factory provided Female Insulated Quick Disconnect (FIQD). This shall snap fit in the terminal block in the Monitor. It shall be possible to field connect all cables without opening the Monitor.
7. Standard supply is without CO2 and CO Modules. CO2 and CO Modules may be added as Optional Item. This is factory installed option complete with factory programming of the Monitor. Reference to CO2 and CO in this section are valid only if these Modules are used.
SENSOR SECTION
8. The Sensor Section shall comprise independent Sensors to track each IAQ parameter, TVOC, Residual Ozone, CO2, CO, Temperature, and RH. Each Sensor shall be independently programmable. Units for display such as PPM, PPB, ΕF or ΕC shall be user selectable.
9. It shall be provided with 256 MB RAM, Micro Processor, Flash Memory, Real Time, and Lithium Battery back up.
10. Each Sensor shall deliver analog output signal approximately linearly proportional to the readings in the range 0-10 V, 0 – 5 V, 4-20mA (specify at time of order). These may be interfaceable to BAS/BMS.
11. Shall have 5 numbers of Normally Open (NO) Dry Contacts, field assignable by user to any sensor, or multiple number of Dry Contacts may be assigned to one Sensor (example: Activation and Alarm may be assigned to the same Sensor). The Dry Contact shall be rated for 3 Amps on 24 V AC/DC. It shall be possible to program at field activation level for any IAQ parameter either on rising or dropping values.
12. Peripheral connectors shall be unit mounted and comprise one each of USB 2.0, RS 232 and Ethernet download.
13. Side panels of the Sensor Board shall be provided with factory installed female plug for connecting power adaptor, On Off switch, USB 2.0 and RS 232 connectors, selector switch for change over between space and duct mount, fan for sampling room air, and exhaust vent to discharge sampled room air.
14. Sensor Section shall be provided with spigots for connecting pitot tubes, if duct mount option is used. It shall be possible to field connect factory provided pitot tubes without opening the Monitor.
15. Power supply shall be 12 V AC/DC 3 Amp. Adaptor 100 to 240 V / 12 V shall be factory provided.
16. The Monitor shall be factory provided with Lithium battery to power Real Time Clock and for data storage.
17. For fail safe and long time operation, printed circuit boards shall be immersed in 24 carat gold
3 Micron thick. This is to reduce or prevent loss of accuracy due to oxidation of the conductor surface over time. The populated board shall be conformal coated to prevent damage from dust, moisture, condensation, traces of acid, and ozone.
18. All parts and components of the Monitor shall be lead free and shall comply to ROHS
(Restriction in use of Hazardous Substances).
DISPLAY SECTION
Display Section may be PD or AD or LAN

19. Display shall be on 5.7 inch, color, graphic, programmable touch screen, capable of displaying all or individual parameters, as chosen by the user.
20. Monitor shall be programmable at site by user through touch screen membrane.
Programming Levels shall include System Set Up, Defining Upper and Lower Ranges, Alarm Levels, Bar or Line Graph, Alarm Reports, Time History and Real Time Reports with user specified time periods, defining levels for activation of NO Dry Contacts and Alarm levels, and defining if activation and alarm is on ascending or descending values. Real Time and Time History records shall be displayed in graphic or tabular format as chosen by user.
21. If set Alarm level is reached, color of display of the parameter concerned shall change from Green to Red.
22. If set Activation and or Alarm levels is reached, icons indicative of these shall appear at the bottom of the respective parameter.
23. The Display Section shall be factory integrated onto the Monitor Section to form one neat compact unit Model CZ8-PD.
24. The Monitor shall be CE Certified.

CZ8-AD
26 Display shall be 4 Line x 20 Character, back lit monochrome LCD. Programming shall be by membrane touch pad keys. Each IAQ parameter shall scroll on the screen one after another. By pressing the prompted touch pad key, chosen parameter shall remain hold steady till user commands it to scroll again.
27. User programmable features shall be same as described in Clause 20 under PD, except Real Time and Time History and graphic features are not available.
28. If set Activation and or Alarm levels is reached, icons indicative of these shall appear at the bottom of the respective parameter.
29. The Monitor shall be CE Certified.
30. Total Air Quality Monitor shall be CZ8-AD, manufactured by Ruks Engineering Ltd, Canada. Country of manufacture shall be Canada.
CZ8-LAN
31. Display on the Monitor shall be by pilot lamp for Power On.
32. LAN shall support upto 32 Monitors in one circuit. Any one of these Monitors may be connected to PC or Laptop. All features of the Monitor such as display of parameters, setup commands, activating alarms, assigning Dry Contacts, producing graphs and reports for any of the Monitors shall be performed from a single PC/Laptop location. Software necessary for PC/Laptop for such functions shall be factory provided.
33. 0-10 VDC or 4 to 20 mA Analog Output for upto five parameters shall be available for interface to BAS/BMS.
34. Output protocol may be LAN, BacNet, Modbus, or EtherNet, as chosen by the user (Specify at time of order).
35. The Monitor shall be CE Certified.
