  Ruks policy encourages sale of products, systems and services through network of dedicated Distributors.

This attempts to provide preliminary information to prospective Distributors/Agents for products and services of Ruks Engineering.

BENEFITS TO DISTRIBUTORS/AGENTS OF RUKS ENGINEERING

1 Yield high profits to our Distributors: Ruks Engineering enjoys high market participation in their target markets. This is reflected by the repeat clients Ruks has in all the areas of their participation. Review of our Reference List will confirm this. Repeat orders result in better yield to our Distributors as cost of sale is lower with repeat clients.
2. Have little or no competition: Our products are established after intense research, and are relatively new in the industry, but highly successful. They provide quick Return on Investment to the end users and clients. Competition is limited.
3. Add excellent incremental business to our Distributors: To companies specialized in contracting and or marketing of HVAC projects and services, this is an excellent incremental business.
4 Do not require high investment: We do not require our Distributors or Agents to hold high stock or inventory. Our products and services cater to projects. Except for some demos, instruments and monitors, not much of stocking is necessary.
5 Provide quick payback to clients and end users: Our products result in reduction of capital and operating costs of HVAC systems. This helps provide very quick Return on Investment to the clients In some instances, the capital cost of the HVAC system may be reduced by incorporating our products.
6 Well suited for hot and humid environment.

8. Contribute to environment protection, and improve air and water quality: Eliminate use of toxic chemicals, reduce use of utilities such as water and electricity to operate HVAC systems. Reduce Sick Building Syndrome.
9 Protected Territories: We provide protected territories to our Distributors.
10 Strong Support: We pride our extremely strong Distributor support, by frequent visits of our representatives to present seminars, client meetings, and intimate follow up. We provide detailed Feasibility Study and Return on Investment Analysis, on a case to case basis. We actively follow up with consultants main office, should they be located in Canada or USA.
11 Proven and successful list of operating projects.

ISSUES TO BE CONSIDERED BY THE PROSPECTIVE DISTRIBUTOR/AGENT

1. Our products cater mostly to projects. Often, the first contact or initiation begins at the stage of writing project specifications by the consultants or clients. Thus, the gestation period is long.
2. Selling our system requires intense knowledge of HVAC and Mechanical Engineering disciplines.
3. Selling requires mature personnel. It is seldom successful by personnel with just sales skills only.
4. Our products are very successful, but relatively new in technology and are not the standard type of products. There is a learning curve to reckon with.

PROFILE OF TYPICAL DISTRIBUTOR/AGENT

It is mandatory the prospective Distributor/Agents meet the following criteria;

1. Company with high skills in HVAC and M&E Contracting and marketing products to this sector of the industry.
2. Have at least one Sales Engineer per office or branch dedicated to sale of our products.
3. Very active with intimate contact with HVAC and Mechanical Consultants and Contractors on a day to day basis. Be aware of the projects under execution in your country, and the projects under planning and due to commence in future.
4. Have strong representation in your country, with good business relations with clients, consultants, contractors, ministries and large commercial institutions.
5. Have strong HVAC and Mechanical Engineering infrastructure, with sales, installation and service set up.
6. Financial resources to open LC, provide performance bonds etc, where necessary.
7. Resources and skills to develop relatively new products.
8. Participate in trade shows and arrange seminars.
9. Strong management commitment.
